The appendectomy was more involved due to an infection. I ended up spending 3 nights in the hospital getting pumped with antibiotics while Beth was running back and forth between me and Macy.

Surprisingly, this is my first time as a hospital patient. The level of care from the nurses and aides at St Luke’s hospital was excellent. I was also fortunate to have a competent and caring surgical team led by Dr. Fegely.

Finally back in Timber Trails on Monday night recovering with Beth and Macy. Feels good to be back with my girls.
